Robbery with violence is one of the most common and reprehensible of crimes in this country of ours. So when you can finally encounter thugs who steal without using guns, i.e a victim less crime you must give them all the props available. And please I am not talking about our Kenyan politicians! Those ones have a special place in hell reserved just for them.
This weekend Kenya witnessed some Hollywood-style robbery at KCB Bank, Thika Branch. The manager a Mr. Samuel Nganga opened the bank strong room this morning only to realise that unknown thieves had accessed the Vault through an underground tunnel and stolen approximately Ksh 50,000,000. Not Ugandan shillings, Kenyan shillings! These thugs are my heroes! No blood, no guns, just tact and skill. Something like Oceans 11. Really good movie this.
The thieves/heroes broke into two safes and are believed to have used oxy-Acytelene flame to drill holes into the safes. Man! I thought these things only happened in the movies. For those of you who enjoy a good bank robbery, check out this clip below for a list of amazing ones:
