CORD leader Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi details of their secret meeting held on Saturday, June 4, ahead of a planned Monday protests against the IEBC have been revealed.

Raila Odinga discussed at length with Musalia Mudavadi on his alleged deal between Uhuru Kenyatta the opposition on IEBC dialogue that they want with the government.

Still bitter,Musalia Mudavadi reportedly reminded Raila Odinga Uhuru Kenyatta failed to honour an agreement they (Mudavadi and Uhuru) signed in 2013.

Raila Odinga says that he agreed with President Uhuru Kenyatta to form a 10-member team that would oversee the dialogue the opposition has been calling for.

“I am ready to swear with the Bible…we agreed that we should come up with a team of five — each from the coalitions — and it is very dishonest of the president and his deputy to lie to Kenyans on national television,” Raila Odinga says.

The State House issued a statement in regards to the agreement denying that they agreed, and they say that Raila Odinga is lying to the public.

President Uhuru Kenyatta his deputy, William Ruto, maintain that they did not have  such an agreement and want the opposition to follow the law if at all they want the commissioners out of office.

It is not very clear the kind of help the ODM leader is seeking from the Amani National Congress leader but it can be remembered that the two men now share the same with regards to Jubilee.

Raila’s claims that Jubilee has changed tune in the deal reached in State House echo well the infamous change of tune Uhuru Kenya hurled at Mudavadi prior to the 2013 general election.

Mudavadi had apparently reached a deal with Uhuru that he (Mudavadi) would be the coalition’s flag-bearer, but members of Uhuru’s side prevailed upon the president who changed tune and accused the devil of lying to him to sign the deal.
