Miguna Miguna, Former senior adviser to Raila Odinga has advised President Uhuru Kenyatta on what he should do to ensure that he is re-elected in next year’s General Election.

Speaking during a show on KTN, Miguna told President Kenyatta that the only way he could secure a second term in office was if he took drastic measures to stem the runaway corruption that has marred his Government.

The High Court advocate added: “Kenyatta’s re-election will depend on whether or not he fights corruption which is sucking a lot of the money”.

“If President Uhuru Kenyatta does not watch this space and does not do something radical, blood must flow and must flow quite rapidly. He will not see State House again.” Miguna said emphatically.

The fearless man noted that President Kenyatta was yet to fire corrupt individuals in his Government who had been implicated in corruption scandals.

The outspoken Miguna recounted when Kenyatta gave the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) 90 days to investigate individuals in Government linked to corruption, highlighting that nothing radical has been implemented to date.

Miguna further told President Kenyatta to get rid of people surrounding him citing that ‘they were not disciplined and focussed’.

“His (Kenyatta) heart is in the right place but he is not disciplined enough. He has too many auctioneers surrounding him and he needs to get rid of that.” Miguna said.
