President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are in Kisii county launching a variety of developmental projects in the area, in a week that saw CORD members get teargassed as they failed to storm the IEBC.

Uhuru insists that Raila Odinga and his team must respect the constitution of Kenya, and that old times have no place today.

Check out some of the photos from Kisii.

‘Re-launch of the National Youth Service cohort programme today. Youths should take advantage of the programme to earn and save so that they can venture into entrepreneurship.’ President Uhuru Kenyatta.

‘Launch of road improvement works to bitumen standard of Metembe-Owalo-Rioma-Marani-Ng’enyi, Bobaracho-Ragogo-Kionyagi-Bumburia-Kegogi and Nyakoora-Rioma-Kiomwoncha-Gesieka-Nyaore-Marani Roads. This is the kind of politics we should all yearn for – development politics. No one is above the law and therefore everyone should respect the constitution. No article in the constitution states that demonstrations are the avenue to remove someone from office.’ President Uhuru Kenyatta.
