People owe the taxman lot of money ehh! Renowned dancehall artist, Bobi Wine, has received a letter from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) to clear a Ushs 54 million tax dues.

Apparently Bobi Wine who is popular for ‘Nakumiss’ hit song wasn’t paying his taxes and URA caught up with him.

The Ugandan confirmed he had received a letter from URA and promised he would pay the Ushs 54 million tax due by next week.

Bobi Wine is slated to perform a beach concert during the Valentine’s Day, he confirmed he would pay tax before his concert.

He however denounced claims that he was evading the taxman stating that he is one of the Ugandans who pay lots of taxes to the government.
