Phy gets international recognition by CNN

Phy got international recognition when she was featured by CNN African Voices which according to CNN is (CNN’s African Voices uncovers some of the continent’s most dazzling trendsetters and change makers as we showcase the modern, contemporary Africa). She got to talk about her rise to started through her music career.

Phy whose real name is Phy Mwihaki Ng’etich came in second at the Airtel Trace Music Star competition but later won Maisha Superstar competition  which made a name for her and earned the respect of being on of the contemporary artistes in the industry right now. She has so far went on to release smash hits after hits with ‘Taboo’ being one of her best pieces ever and my favorite song thus far by the artiste, she went on to release an EP ‘Biography’ which was released late last year.
