did Octopizzo throw subliminal shots to Khaligraph Jones in his latest song?

Octopizzo is all about that guap and clearly nothing and/or something is slowing him down one bit. He has been releasing hits after hits and the follow up single for ‘Butere’ is his latest track ‘Utanisho’ which is a few hours old and from the looks of it, it is a club banger and an anthem!

“Naskia bado kuna marapper wamestick kwa cypher, zangu nikutoa soundtrack za SciFi …Pesa Otas, Nicca! naenda nazo choo kama nimekazwa,” Octopizzo says in the beginning of the song which translates to; “I hear still that there are rappers who have stuck doing cypher, me am all about releasing SciFi soundtracks”

I know I might not be a genius in many things but am sure I am a musical connoisseur and I know that’s a subliminal shot aimed at Kayole rapper Khaligraph Jones because he is the only known rapper who has released a cypher in the past two months and if you can’t see that, then you are not an ardent music follower in the Kenyan mainstream music. Octopizzo might not have meant any harm whatsoever since the beef between him and Khaligraph Jones was squashed a few months back but in the music game and specifically the hip hop game when subliminals has been shot, you can never take them back easily.

“Nilikusho wewe ni fala, ju kila song unatoa ni diss: I told you you are a fool, because every song you release is a diss” The Kibera namba nane rapper added at the end of the track joyfully while dancing.

I don’t know what Khaligraph Jones will say about this and NO! I am not trying to instigate anything whatsoever, just listen and/or watch the video ‘Utanisho’ below and be the judge and the jury because I am just the lead persecutor trying to be good and fair.

The music video is a 8 out of 10 if you ask me though.

Octo, I hope mimi si fala!
