Nyeri governor Wahome Gakuru has passed on following the tragic road accident that occurred early this morning at Kabati near Kenol.
Nyeri County Assembly Speaker John Kaguchia told journalists that both suffered serious injuries and were rushed to Thika Level Four Hospital.
The Nyeri Governor was on his way back to Nairobi for an interview before the grisly accident.
