Moha off Jicho Pevu has lived a very distinguished yet controversial life. From his beginnings as an acclaimed investigative journalist with John Allan Namu to going out all on himself when Allan left the show. The thorough and effective journalist who is now the Nyali M.P is fluent in the Kikuyu dialect, has now come out hard against the governor for Mombasa Hassan Joho.
The reason for this is not singular but a myriad of reasons that M0ha pointed out. He claimed that Joho had done a very poor job in the management of Mombasa county affairs. He gave the example of Kongowea market which he noted was in a bad state as he poked holes in the county bosses leadership.
Ali also accused Joho’s brother Abu Joho of trying to intimidate him with CID officers who recently confronted him at Parliament buildings. There is clearly no love lost between the two. He said that Joho had tried to rig him out of the ODM nominations earlier in the year that made him vie as an independent. What was surprising was this claim below that he made about the governor concerning the drug menace in Mombasa county. No chills were given.
He stated:
”Am asking Uhuru to let me deal with this man, and drugs will disappear if he eats he eats with his family, if he steals he steals with his family so when will the common man in Mombasa eat?”
Wololo! This is really murky waters Ali is wading into here. I hope that he has the evidence to back him up with such a bold accusation.
