The tournament saw a huge turn out from the locals who came to support and watch the young ones play. FC Porto from Makongeni won the tournament with a 2-0 win against FC Cologne from Shauri Moyo.

The MVP of the tournament Maxwell Otieno, won a one year scholarship to a school of his choice courtesy of King Kaka. Maxwell  will also receive a sports scholarship from Zetech University to study a course of his choice at the university once he is done with high school.

The tournament is a first of its kind as it seeks to help the young ones have something to look forward to. Most of them growing up in Eastlands are engaged in drugs, crime and sex at an early age. The tournament is an opportunity for them to focus their energy elsewhere and keep them occupied. Most of the teams meet up every day to practice but they do not have tournaments to motivate them to play.
