Jubilee supporters hold demo over Babu Owino’s insulting remarks on Uhuru Kenyatta

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino is said to have insulted president Uhuru Kenyatta during a rally in Kawangware on Sunday September 24th. Babu is alleged to have used very crude words to abuse Uhuru during the said rally.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria implored Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnett and Director of the Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro to see to it that Babu Owino is arrested.

“Ndegwa Muhoro, Joseph Boinnett, Francis Ole Kaparo and Keriako Tobiko. I still hold you in high regard. The cell number 4 at Pangani which has hosted me frequently is waiting for Babu Owino. I trust this will be done today to save me unnecessary time, effort and resources tomorrow,” wrote Moses Kuria.

Babu Owino denied that his speech in Kawangware was directed to Uhuru Kenyatta, the Embakasi East MP has vowed not to issue an apology in regard to the same.

“I will not apologize to anyone because I called nobody’s name during my yesterday’s address.We have so many presidents in Kenya,from the President of sonu to all presidents of students union in Kenya,President of the Supreme Court,President of Youth senate and many more.However I will stick to objective politics and will never abuse anybody.Let my brothers and sisters from the kikuyu nation know that I did not abuse their president.One kenya one nation.Lastly in law calling someone a mtoto wa umbwa(a puppy) is not an abuse.God bless Kenya,” Babu Owino wrote on Facebook.

Meanwhile Jubilee supporters have today September 25th held demonstrations along the busy Thika super highway demanding action to be taken against Babu Owino for insulting Uhuru Kenyatta.
