Former Kakamega Senator sparked uproar on twitter with his tweet on deposed Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe.

93-year-old Mugabe was topple by the military on Wednesday November 15th. The tyrant ruled Zimbabwe with an iron fist for 37 long years.

Uncle Bob’s ouster sparked celebrations from democrats across the world. Most Kenyans supported the move by the military to overthrow Mugabe.

Boni Khalwale however feels pity for the deposed nonagenarian leader. The former senator asked the military to show leniency to the aged president.

“President Mugabe along other comrades was in the armed struggle that gave the people Rhodesia freedom in 1980. We appeal to the Zimbabwe Defence Forces to treat him with respect as an African oldman & facilitate his joining his family in South Africa,” Boni Khalwale tweeted.

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) showed their disapproval of Khalwale tweet. KOT wants no mercy to be shown to Uncle Bob because he was ruthless in dealing with his opponents.
